Motorists who park their vehicles in any of the eight surface parking lots operated by Chicago Parking Meters will now pay online for monthly permits beginning on July 15.

The shift to the online format will make it easier and more convenient for drivers to purchase the permits that are required to hang from each vehicle’s rear-view mirror as proof of payment.

Anyone wishing to purchase a parking permit can visit www.parkchicago/rates. Monthly renewals are available, and customers can sign up for notifications via text and/or email.
